What do you do when you’ve left your headlights on overnight and come back to a dead battery? Haul out your Stanley Fatmax 700 of course. With enough power to provide a jump start, you’ll be back in business in no time. Need a little air in the tire and a charger for your smartphone? A Fatmax will take care of those too.

I can give this a tentative thumbs-up. The LED swiveling flashlight, air compressor, and three USB plugs work just fine. We haven’t actually needed it to do a jump on a vehicle yet. But I got a good tingle on my tongue when I touched the battery clamps to it for a test, so I assume those would do fine on a car battery.

Okay, just kidding. I didn’t touch them to my tongue like I would to test a 9-volt battery. Don’t touch 700-amp electrodes to your tongue.

The device comes with a standard adapter block to plug into the wall to recharge, recommended once a month. It seems to be a well-made, solid, peace-of-mind thing to have on hand. Amazon has them here, along with a larger size and some other brands with variations of these features. Take a look around and maybe get one for yourself, eh? Before you say heck and doggone it with a dead vehicle battery.
